Einladung zur Generalversammlung 2025 in Zürich

We are pleased to invite you to the annual general meeting of the Islamic Central Council (IZR) on March 15, 2025 in Zurich . This meeting offers interested Muslims the opportunity to actively participate in shaping the future of Islam in the DACH region and to get involved in the largest Islamic grassroots organization in Switzerland.

Why Zurich?

Zurich, as one of the most important cities in Switzerland, stands for diversity, dynamism and progress. With its central location, the city offers the ideal setting for this year’s General Assembly. Here we want to promote exchange, further develop our shared vision and promote sustainable projects to strengthen the Muslim community.

Our review and outlook

As was the case at last year’s AGM, the topic of promoting young talent is at the top of the agenda this year. We are working hard to establish and maintain our resources, experience and networks so that the next generation can continue working seamlessly.

Every Muslim has the opportunity to apply to become an active member. Specialists in the areas of legal advice, IT, child rearing and event organization are particularly sought after . Your talents and commitment are crucial to tackling the numerous challenges of our time together.

application process:

1. Send your application letter with curriculum vitae (CV)  to [email protected] by March 1, 2025 .

2. The General Secretariat confirms receipt and carries out a summary preliminary examination.

3. If you meet the requirements ( Muslim, of legal age, residence permit B, C, EU or CH passport ), you will be invited to the general assembly.

4. In the session block of the General Assembly, the Board issues motions for acceptance or abstention, which are voted on by the active members.
